Adoption process
Information
If you would like to adopt an animal from Cheshunt Animal Reacue then please fill in this form as fully as you can. The more information the better
successful applicants will be contacted within 2 weeks and will be subject to a home check. We will then arrange for a meet and greet to ensure it is the perfect match for you both
An adoption fee is required for each animal to help towards their care while with us, veterinary fees and any medication etc ( adoption fee differs depending on medical history and age but for dog it usually ranges between £200-400 and cats £50-100)
All cats and dogs will come neutered, vaccinated and microchipped or if too young then a contract will be put in place for this to be carried out at a later date. We are strongly against breeding animals and will not rehome any animals with any unneutered dogs
All animals come with rescue back up, should you find yourself in a difficult situation and are no longer capable of caring for one of our rescues then they shall come straight back into our care - and not rehomed by yourself
Unfortunately due to the fact we are a very small team of volunteers who work around their own pets, families and work we will only contact you if you are a potential match.
If you have not heard from us within 2 weeks please see this as an unsuccessful application at this time.
